Ha Noi is the capital of the socialist republic of Viet Nam. The center of culture, politic, economy of the country.
It’s the largest city in Việt Nam, it lies on the red River in the north center of Viet Nam.
And it has a population about over 6 million people(as 2008) Ha Noi has become the capital of Việt Nam since 1010. Its name has changed several times. The capital was first called Thang Long, then Dong Do , Dong Kinh, and finally, it has been called Ha Noi since 1831
Ha Noi is situated in a tropical monsoon zone with two main seasons; dry season and wet season. The dry season last from October to April next year. It’s cold, cloudy and occasionally rainy. The wet season last from May to September. It’s hot and heavy rain, even storms
Ha Noi is exciting and peaceful capital. Hanoi still maintains many ancient architecture. Including : The old quarters and over 600 pagodas and Temples. One of the famous places is The one Pillar Pagoda; The Quoc Tu Giam temple Literature, Hanoi Opera House; Precedent Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum. And now, there’re a lot of big famous buildings as My Dinh stadium; Ho Tay water park; National conference center.
Ha Noi has a lot of green trees, parks, lakes, Which are lungs of the city, keep the air clean and fresh.
However, Ha Noi has problems with traffic and pollution. Only over 6 million people but there are 4.5 million motorbike and car. Traffic jams occur. There’s a lot of smoke and dust in the air. So the air isn’t really clean. Moreover the price and service is a bit expensive, so many people don’t like living here.
Apart from these problems. Hanoi is still a beautiful place to live and to work and I like living here.

My secondary school is a place that bears all the hallmarks of my childhood memories. It is placed in the center of my district. Surrounded by a paddy-field, it enjoys lined- trees and colorful garden, which creates a wonderful view. Moreover, this school was designed with a large- scale plan. It is a 2 storied building of u shape with capacity of 1000 people and it was invested heavily in infrastructures with well- equipped classrooms. In a good environment, students are given many precious chances to discover and develop their inner talents. Besides modern facilities, this school is also well- known for enthusiastic and qualified teachers who are always dedicated and devoted themselves to teaching career. In conclusion, studied in this school for four years, it has become an indispensable part in my life.

School is about teaching me lots of knowledge in life. Dressed in a mossy yellow shirt, the school with the nameplate: "Xuan Truong Secondary School" peeking out of green makes it feel so ancient and solemn. The rows of houses are built in a U-shape with walls painted with gold that exude a warm, friendly atmosphere. In the classrooms, besides the necessary items such as tables and chairs, blackboards, white chalk, there are many other modern devices such as projectors, printers, ... for the study. Behind the school is a large area of land used as a place to learn exercise and sports competitions. In front of each classroom, there are beautiful little flower beds with prominent colorful flowers that attract the butterfly brothers and sisters to suck honey and have fun. In addition, on the school yard, there are many different shade trees such as the phoenix tree with brilliant red color, eagle tree with cool turquoise color, ... My school's teachers are all highly qualified teachers and enthusiasm for the job. And one of the teachers I respect is probably Ms. Nga, her class teacher is the person I love the most. She is always devoted and dedicated to the profession, always treating students like her children to care for and teach. Students in the school are docile and study hard, cultivate morality, respect teachers, love you. I feel very lucky to be able to study in this healthy environment.
